Staff go above and beyond at all times. The app they use keeps us updated on a daily basis. Residents are always kept entertained or busy when they want to be. All staff, from management to kitchen staff, are excellent. Thank you.

We have been extremely pleased with the care, love and support the staff have shown our sister-in-law. Always encouraging her to eat and drink, and persistent with follow-up calls to the GP and other medical services.

My sisters and I recently needed to put Mum in for a long weekend for respite. A member of staff came to give Mum her Covid test at home, and straight away, I felt we had chosen the right home.

They set us up on a WhatsApp group, so my sisters and I knew what was happening, and also a family group and sent pictures and videos of Mum while she was in there, which was very comforting, as she seemed to be very happy. What a lovely place and all the staff I met were great; the team leader was extremely helpful.

Sherwood House's continued care of my sister is outstanding. The care and compassion shown by all staff are amazing; they respect each resident and ensure their dignity remains. The range of activities provided is well thought out. The food provided by their talented chef is amazing.

I cannot thank the manager and all the staff at Sherwood house for the care and support they have shown my mum and myself since she arrived in August. What really stands out is the level of care and professionalism that the whole team consistently show to residents and their families.

It is such a comfort to know your loved one is being looked after and is settled and happy, and their needs are fully understood. For the home to have been Covid free during these very challenging times, is a testament to the hard work and safety measures that have been put in place to keep residents and staff safe, thank you.

Mum went into Sherwood House for a two-week respite stay. Everyone was very helpful before she moved in, showing me around the home and explaining everything they offered. There is a bright lounge leading onto a paved garden area, which was ideal for Mum, who has very limited sight.

The staff are lovely and are committed to giving the very best of care with kindness and respect. I think Sherwood House provides a caring, stimulating environment for those with dementia who need a safe and happy place to live.

Since my mother has been in Sherwood House, she has settled in much better than I could have hoped for. The staff have been very kind and helpful, especially in the current covid 19 crisis setting up video links and calls. The facilities are bright and airy as are the rooms.

I would recommend the Sherwood House to anyone.

Sherwood House is the best. There is nothing they would or have not done for my sister. Management team, carers, all staff are the best from the moment you walk indoors; they are always ready with a smile on their faces, they give everyone 100 per cent off their time, looking after our loved ones.

I am so impressed with the outstanding care that is provided. The daily activities, fantastic food and genuine kindness and warmth that is provided on a daily basis. Nothing is too much, and the resident's needs are always 100% placed first.

I love seeing how involved the residents are, especially seeing them in the kitchen helping with making dinner and being encouraged with activities and exercises. The staff are truly amazing in every way.

My brother-in-law went into Sherwood House during the second lockdown, we couldn’t view the home because of Covid, so we were a bit concerned. As a family, we worried over nothing as this care home is truly amazing.

The staff are fantastic and very attentive, the home in general is fantastic from the rooms to the food it has an amazing garden and from what I have seen all the residents are so happy and relaxed, would highly recommend this care home to anyone needing this service.

Lovely visit as always. The staff member who greeted me at the front door was pleasant and helpful; she offered me a cup of tea or coffee then showed me to the lounge area. Another staff member helped to get my mother to her room, which was clean, tidy and homely. All staff members were helpful and

caring towards my mother.

I am always impressed with the activities undertaken with the residents at the home. I could not be more pleased with the care given by the staff at Sherwood House. I am grateful that my mother is being so well looked after.

Mum moved into Sherwood House last November. I don't live in the UK, therefore, I only had photos of the home to view... which all looked very good. I had the pleasure of visiting Mum and joining her for lunch just recently, and I was very impressed with the cleanliness and standard of the home, and of her own room.

The staff are just amazingly kind and caring; it's also obvious that a great deal of thought goes into the residents' daily lives to occupy and make life interesting, with a wide range of activities to suit everyone. My lunch with Mum didn't disappoint either... beautifully cooked and presented.

With the help of the staff, I'm able to video call Mum, so I can "see" how she is, for me, that is so important... and she does look so well and happy. Also, with the photos and videos that the home shares, showing activities with all the happy faces of the residents speaks for itself. An excellent, caring home, with an extremely high standard of cleanliness.

Sherwood House, what an amazing care home. Our brother was moved here during the second lockdown as the previous home was shutting down. The staff are amazing and do so much for their residents; would say it’s more like a hotel than a care home.

Our brother is so happy for the first time in a long time; staff do so much to keep residents occupied and happy. Would highly recommend this home; it’s amazing.

Excellent care and attention at all times, fantastic food. Residents are kept engaged in activities as much as they want to, and all seem to enjoy the varied activities and interaction with each other and staff.

My uncle has only been there 3-weeks, but the difference in him is already evident. He is eating more, and his mobility, although not great, is better than it was. Fantastic work by all staff. Thank you.

Care, kindness and compassion by all staff to residents are second to none. The food is first-class and plentiful, and my mum loves her food, so is in her element.

The home is kept spotless and regular entertainment keeps residents occupied. Staff welcome and encourage families to visit and are very

forthcoming with any questions you may have.

Overall, I'm glad my mum is a resident of this care home and knowing she is well looked after is peace of mind. Thanks to all concerned.

This is the nicest care home around. Before placing Nan in a new place, I must have attended dozens of other care homes - non compare to Sherwood House. It’s clean, and the staff are outstanding, from cleaners to managers.

My nan's care has been exceptional. The food they receive is amazing - it’s fresh and plentiful. My nan is happy here. They make a fuss of all residents, and no one goes without.

My experience of dealing with Sherwood House management and staff has been very favourable. It became evident right from the beginning that my family and I had made the right decision in choosing Sherwood.

My mum has come on leaps and bounds since they took charge of her care. In fact, she is a completely different person from the first week she has resided there. The staff and management are amazingly caring, and their commitment to their work is faultless.

My mother-in-law moved into Sherwood in Oct 2021. From day one, she has been safe and cared for. The staff at Sherwood House are all kind, professional and respectful to all residents and their guests. The food is delicious and plentiful, and my mother-in-law definitely enjoys every mealtime, often trying and enjoying new foods.

The activities are varied and engaging, I can often see my mother-in-law joining in from the photos and videos posted on the WhatsApp group. The WhatsApp group really helps to keep my family connected. In summary, my mother-in-law is very happy there. We know she’s safe and happy, therefore, I would wholeheartedly recommend Sherwood to anyone considering residential care. Thank you to the staff, thank you for caring.

Thank you so much for putting on a Halloween party for all the residents. Special thanks to two particular members of staff for doing so on their day off. Outstanding food from the chef team too. Lots of fun, and we are grateful that Sherwood House continues to go over and above for relatives and residents.

Sherwood House has exceeded my expectations of a care home. My mum always said she never wanted to go into a home, but she settled very quickly here due to the caring staff and excellent facilities. I live in Australia but was in the UK to see Mum and see her move into Sherwood House in September 2022.

I now see more of my mum than I did before through the many photos and videos on the Whatsapp family group. The food looks absolutely wonderful. My mum's GP is very happy with the care they give at Sherwood House. The staff are always happy and engage with the residents in different activities, from pet therapy to pumpkin carving for Halloween!

As l live abroad, I'm rating this on the conversations I've had with the family and the home. Also, from what l can see from the shared photos and videos on the personal and residents' WhatApps groups, Dad has improved so much since moving into Sherwood. He's eating better and joining in with the activities, doing things l would never expect him to.

I want to thank all the staff, carers, chefs, activities co-ordinators and office staff and anyone I've forgotten for going over and above in the care and attention they give our loved ones, including taking care of Mum when she's forgotten her purse for the taxi ride and seeing to her gashed leg. My mum has been at Sherwood since February. The staff are absolutely brilliant; lots of fun activities and Mum is extremely happy and settled. I am happy that I know she is safe and well cared for.

My brother came to this amazing care home 2-years ago. Just recently, our mother has been diagnosed with vascular dementia, and this is the home we wanted her to go to. We've had constant updates from the staff regarding our mother's placement. On Tuesday the 1st of March we got the news we've all been waiting for that our mother has got her placement at this wonderful, welcoming home. The staff always go above and beyond for our mother and the visitors that go there. We cannot thank them enough for helping with the process of getting her into their care.

My dad joined this wonderful home in late December 2021. Seeing my dad so happy here has been so wonderful to see a bit of my dad return. The staff here are all amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. The staff go out of their way to make sure the residents are happy and well cared for. The senior carer

makes sure, we, as a family, are updated at every step. Even a WhatsApp group with photos etc.

Whilst visiting my dad, I noticed that the care home has two ladies who do activities with the residents. They were having so much fun, and I played a few games of dominoes with my dad. All staff and residents interact so well, and I have got to know most of them. For me, the care and love shown in the house is amazing, and it’s like being in a big family.

Wonderful, helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Always looking out for my mum's welfare and needs. The app the home uses is very good and keeps us updated. My mum has settled very well. The home is always kept clean and today with a very good menu! Mum has put on weight.

Excellent care and facilities, residents are included in many different daily activities, including live music, games, and arts and crafts.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is fabulous. So thankful that my mum has been able to stay here.

Sherwood is an amazing residential home. My grandad is so very well looked after here. The carers and managers are so lovely and thoughtful and are always keeping the family in the loop via our family WhatsApp group. I couldn’t recommend Sherwood House enough.

My father is a resident at Sherwood House. The staff are very dedicated to their work and show a lot of compassion, empathy, and kindness to all the residents.

They do a lot of different activities, which helps keep all the residents engaged and share pictures of what they have been doing on a daily

basis, which is fantastic for families to see. The food always looks very nice, and the birthday cakes are fantastic.

My brother, sister and I would never have put our Mum into care, but circumstances left us with no choice. We were all mortified at the prospect. In such a short space of time, Mum started to improve in every way. She went into Sherwood more or less bedridden and with no will to carry on. Now, she is living life again. Her mobility is improving, and she is smiling and joining in.

It is obvious that she is surrounded by such caring staff who go way beyond normal duties and really care about their charges. We receive constant updates and feel we are always kept informed by the wonderful staff. We are all astounded at how far Mum has come. There are no words to convey just how happy we are with the amazing package that Sherwood House provides. Many, many thanks to all.

Mum has been at Sherwood since January 2021. We were not happy about having to put Mum into care, but were unable to care for Mum at home anymore, we were unfortunately left with no choice!

How lucky we feel that Sherwood House was the care home we chose! Everything about the place is wonderful! The staff are incredibly caring, friendly and bubbly. They go above and beyond their duties to keep their residents happy and comfortable.

The food is excellent, and I would be happy to book a table here if it was a restaurant! Sherwood house is not 5 star, it’s 10-stars!

Communication is excellent, always kept up to date and the use of an app group is very good, staff have a very caring attitude. Dignity is respected at all times and I am more than happy with the service.

The staff at Sherwood House have far exceeded my expectations with the care they have given to my wife over the last twelve months or so. The care home is clean and tidy at all times. The food is excellent and plentiful as well as tailored for individuals. Activities are regular and well thought out.

The carers are very caring, and my brother had settled very well. The home is very clean, and my brother's presentation is always clean and well cared for. class. Support and communication with the family are prompt and effective.

My brother had a two-night stay to see if he would like to move in long term. He loved it! He was treated like a king. Staff and residents were so kind and respectful to my brother. He immediately relaxed and fitted in with the other residents.

He loved his room, the food, the singing and the music. Everywhere was bright, fresh and immaculate. He felt very safe and secure. I was impressed with everything, especially the way I was kept up-to-date with lots of messages and videos.

Our father came to Sherwood House in March 22. He came from another home. My sister and I were immediately impressed on our first visit with the care and facilities offered. The food and activities provided were not what we had experienced before.

What made the move so easy for Dad and us was the care and the fact families are included fully with life at Sherwood House daily. Dad found it difficult to adjust, but the staff have been patient with him and introduced him to activities or just talked to him to make him feel at ease. He is so happy now, and so are my sister and I. Thank you to all at this wonderful home.
