Recruitment - Sherwood House

To support the Manager in providing leadership to the care staff within The Gables Residential Home.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

To provide physical and emotional support and care to the residents of our home, maintaining high standards of care and supervision of the daily routine.
To develop a stable and caring environment.
To develop a good working relationship with managers and with other colleagues.
To administer any medication as prescribed, ensuring that medication is taken and documented correctly.
To partake in training sessions and staff meetings as required.

A minimum of NVQ Care level 3 is a required.
Team leadership skills to develop effective working relationships with all other members of staff within The Gables
A willingness to seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
A desire to work in cooperation with members of multi-disciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for our residents.
The ability to lead by example

Ongoing training, support and supervision
Opportunity to work within a close knit team dedicated to providing high quality person centred care
5.6 weeks holiday pro rata
